| K-1, PRIDE, MMA, Shooto... I'm having second thoughts about leaving the scene for COLLEGE.. ha, no I'll go, but I'm going to miss it!! And Tokyo City, lights, excitement, energy... I won't miss the creeps, the pervs, and the bad dancers, though. :P even if I did, I'm sure I could find a couple of those in Indianapolis.

whoa, totally random picture. haha. does anybody know this guy? my friend did, but I'm not really knowledged when it comes to Japanese celebrities. Nambe? from Tokyo Shock Boys...? haha ok.
Another one of my heros, Ole Laursen. But he's not scheduled to come again this year... so far, so I probably won't see him again soon. He's already had 3 big fights in Japan, and another one in... Sweden? So, I'm thinking K-1 won't be sending him another contract for a couple more months. Too bad. But he owns a gym in Thailand - Legacy Gym. More like a training camp, I'm thinking of visiting while I'm in the country over Christmas break - that'd be intense: 2 training sessions a day, running, boxing, jumping/situps/pushups... PAIN. hahah but I'd be better for it. $130 for a week of that, plus meals and my own apartment = very duable. :smiley: | | |

The highlight event for me this season is discus - I am taking ownership and finding delight in my endeavors.
School is not at the top of my priority list, and I thank God for it. I can relax a little more.
To most of you this may be a surprise, but I am a big fan of the fighting world - kickboxing - MMA, K-1, Pride... I am a co-host on the kickboxing radio show at kakuto.com (we just recorded today, it'll be up soon) and have recently been attending many tournaments and meeting fighters. Meeting and talking to the fighters is definately my favoritest part of the job - it makes everything ... 3-D!

BASKETBALL: undefeated, having a blast, learning a lot
COLLEGE: accepted to Northeastern U (Boston) and U of Indianapolis. I also got a big scholarship to go there, so... we'll see. still applying to Vanguard, Indiana State, and St. Louis Madrid Campus
SCHOOL: don't ask. yuck yuck yuck
FRIENDS: I need to be hanging out with more friends that will encourage me in my faith. I'm making too many bad life choices.

| basketball season is underway! i'm so pleased with our team: we're working together, trusting eachother on the court, and there isn't this tension or gap between the older and younger... I think we have a good equality thing going. 
colleges apps - one done, 3/4 (?) to go. gah. so many. indiana (2) california? and spain/italy. I REALLY want to study abroad. I'm afraid if I wait too long, it'll just turn into "that plan for the future" that never happens.

Senior Talent show - cutos to all who participated! Impressive, entertaining, good job! I have decided that I never want to perform again. Today's performance sealed the deal. GAH! I want to be a background person... basketball! But music? no... I love it, but it hurts too much.
New season's starting: basketball!!! nervous about the team turnouts, too many people gone or not playing. coach might take me off my point guard position (shocker!! no, i'm serious...). says I might be better as shooting guard - we've never had a shooting guard. kind of intimidating, pressuring... gah ya... blaablaa.
school? I never think about school. actually, it's kind of bad. I never do any homework at home. so i have quite a bit of work to.. ehemm... but i'm still pretty good. college aps deadlines. so umm... Europe? i really want europe.
I want sanity, peace, "deep meaningful relationships", purpose/drive/focus, confidence, freedom (wow, that's a loaded term). oh! and basketball shoes, 'cause someone stole mine.
